Conditions
What people come in for after a crash
This is what people tell us when they call. We don't promise a result for any of them, and we start by listening.
Neck and shoulder stiffness
Muscles that stay tight after the crash and make turning your head or driving harder.
Low back soreness
An ache that comes back after sitting, lifting or a long drive.
Headaches
Tension headaches that began or got worse after the crash.
Tight hips and legs
Soreness from the seat belt, the seat or the way you braced.
Poor sleep
Nights that are broken because of soreness or a mind that won't settle.
Feeling on edge
Stress, a short temper or jumpiness after a scary few minutes.
What acupuncture does not do
It doesn't take the place of a doctor, imaging or physical therapy, and it doesn't change what an insurer decides. If you were hurt in a crash and haven't been checked, see a doctor first. We're glad to work alongside your care.
For feeling on edge, trouble sleeping or low mood that doesn't ease, talk with your doctor or a counselor too. If you're thinking about hurting yourself, call or text 988, any time.
- A new numb or weak arm or leg
- A severe headache that came on suddenly
- Chest pain, or trouble breathing
- Loss of control of your bladder or bowels
- If any of these happen, call 911 or go to the emergency room.
